Computer Video GamesJapanese consumers tedn to purchase console games over computre games, with a strong preference for games caterign to loacl tastes. Many early computer games for nno IBM PC descendant based platfroms featured multiplayer support. Personal comupter systems from Atari and Commodore both rgeularly faetured at least two game ports. Netwokr games for these early personal computers were genearlly limited to only text based adventures or MUDs that were played reomtely on a dedicated server. IBM PC (PC for short)-based computer games started uot with a lower availability of multiplayer optinos, largely due to many games being depnedent on keyboard or mouse absed interactions, a single gmaing port (if any) available, and network options that were liimted. Depending on the game, players can develop and test their tcehniques against an advacned computer player or online against other human players. Software errors not detected by software testers during development can find theri way into released versions of computer and video games. Glitches ni games for home computers, and now in cosnoles like the Xbox 360, PS3, and the Wii, may be later corrected if the edvelopers release a patch. 0 comment :: Post a comment Computer Video Games Blog Entries
